Bathroom Project Management
Overseeing your project will be an experienced project manager and we even have someone who is a Prince 2 qualified practitioner at the company.
What this means is that the installation should run smoothly from the day we start to the day we hand over your amazing bathroom.
10 simple stages to your bespoke bathroom by Soak
1. Make that call!
Give us a ring to discuss your ideas and tell us whether you would like a new bathroom, wetroom or shower room. Our job now is to arrange for our senior bathroom fitter to come along and meet you and to see your existing bathroom.
2. Free design and fitting information visit
We will arrange to come and see you at a convenient time. It takes a little time to go through things so make sure that you book the appointment when you have a couple of hours free to discuss things. During the visit, our fitter will take measurements and look at what is and what is not possible. Sometimes, we will arrange for a tiler to come along as well to discuss the tiling aspects of the bathroom.
3. Ensuring we understand what you want
Our fitter will ensure that we have all the details of your bathroom and he will make sure that he understands exactly what you are looking for in terms of style and design. We will work with you to help you decide what bathroom fittings and tiles you would like.
4. Understanding the costs
We will put together a full estimate of work for you which will show you exactly what we propose to do. This will be another chance for you to run through things to check that we have understood your requirements.
5. CAD Design
As part of our design service we will carry out a CAD for you. For a small additional cost, this could be supplied to you to keep. Of course, if you do choose to go ahead with us, the cost of the CAD drawing would be deducted from the cost of the bathroom. The CAD will show you exactly what your bathroom will look like when it is finished; it can be used to see any proposed changes to layout that you are considering.
6. First things first
Once you give us a call to say that you would like us to carry out your bathroom installation, you will be allocated a Project Manager who will be your first port of call and who will oversee your bathroom installation. A date will be agreed and any financial paperwork will be dealt with.
7. Early stages of the project
Your Project Manager will order all the materials and to ensure that the correct fitter and tiler is allocated to the project. Materials will be ordered in preparation for the fitting. Your Project Manager will be in contact with you throughout the project.
8. Lets get started
Our fitters will arrive on site and get started on the work. The bathroom will begin by stripping out what is there at the moment and the initial plumbing will be carried out in readiness. There may be a number of visits from different trades including tilers, carpenters, decorators and plumbers.
9. Work completed – time to see your new bathroom
After all the work has been done, the senior fitter will come over to check that you are happy with everything and make sure that everything has been completed to a very high standard.
10. After Service
We are here for you after your bathroom has been fitted. All notes from your project will be kept in a file which can be found if there are any queries. We hope that you will have many years of pleasure from your bathroom!
